My associate, Darian Heyman, former executive director of the the Craigslist foundation and MC of the TED talks Presidio, is launching a new initiative to assist non-profits with social media.

The Social Media for Nonprofits conference series will tour San Francisco (6/29), Washington, DC (7/14), New York City (8/4), Los Angeles (8/22), Chicago (9/27), Seattle (10/14) & Atlanta tba and will offer keynotes by Beth Kanter, Guy Kawasaki, Carol Cone, Idealist.org’s Ami Dar, plus workshops and roundtables. The program will feature practical tips & tools for fundraising, marketing & advocacy, and will all be followed by book release parties for Nonprofit Management 101.
